Managing clinically based appeals, the full-time California Licensed Care Manager RN will oversee communication between Providence Health and Services and outside payers, ensuring patient-focused advocacy for reimbursement of services in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate overall management and communication of appeals related to patient care services
- Advocate for reimbursement of services provided to patients within the PH&S ministries
- Ensure compliance and uniformity in all patient-focused activities related to appeals
Required qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- California Registered Nurse License upon hire
- 4 years of direct patient care experience in an acute hospital setting
- 4 years of experience as a case manager in an acute hospital setting
