California Licensed Case Manager

Job Summary

To support incoming corps members, the part-time California Licensed Case Manager will manage a portfolio of new teachers, guiding them through credentialing, district hiring, and school placement while fostering relationships that enhance their commitment and readiness to teach in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of incoming corps members, providing individualized support and maintaining accurate records of their progress
• Build trust-based relationships to foster a sense of belonging and connection to the organization's mission and culture
• Help corps members navigate key onboarding milestones using a warm accountability approach

Required qualifications

• Experience as an instructional leader, school leader, or educator with a strong track record of coaching and mentoring adults
• Expertise in coaching, advising, and developing emerging educators
• Ability to build authentic relationships while holding individuals accountable to ambitious goals
• Deep commitment to educational equity and developing diverse teacher talent
• Strong organizational skills to manage a portfolio of individuals effectively
