Job Summary
To support inpatient documentation improvement initiatives, the contract Clinical Documentation Integrity RN will perform clinical documentation reviews, collaborate with providers, and ensure compliance in a fully remote environment, working 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform initial clinical documentation reviews for new inpatient cases
- Conduct daily follow-up reviews to ensure documentation accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Collaborate with physicians and other providers to clarify clinical indicators and documentation opportunities
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- 3-5+ years of Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) experience
- Recent inpatient CDI experience in an acute care hospital
- Experience working with Epic (required)
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently in a remote environment
