California Licensed Claims Examiner

Job Summary

To analyze workers' compensation claims for clients, the full-time California Licensed Claims Examiner will adjudicate complex claims, negotiate settlements, and communicate with claimants while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Analyzing and processing claims through action plans to achieve timely resolutions
• Negotiating settlements of claims within designated authority
• Communicating claim activity and processing updates with claimants and clients

Required qualifications

• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification applicable to the line of business preferred
• Knowledge of California jurisdiction and licensing requirements
