Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time California Licensed Claims Examiner will process insurance claims for property losses remotely, interacting with adjusters and policyholders while making payment recommendations and settlements based on coverage and damage assessments.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve claims to promote fair and prompt settlements
• Adjust reserves and provide recommendations to align with company policies
• Examine claims and conduct thorough investigations, ensuring timely payments to policyholders

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of property claims experience, with a focus on handling claims up to $300,000
• Certified in CEA and Fair Claims Settlement Practices
• 1 year of carrier experience required
• Proficiency in MS-Office, particularly Word and Excel
