California Licensed Claims Supervisor

Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing a claims unit, the full-time California Licensed Claims Supervisor will manage performance evaluations, provide coaching and mentoring to Claims Specialists, and ensure compliance with company standards and Labor Code regulations while working remotely from Texas.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct timely performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback to claims personnel
• Maintain oversight of complex claim files and ensure compliance with applicable statutes
• Perform quarterly audits to validate claims management processes and identify improvement opportunities

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Five or more years of progressive technical claims experience
• Strong understanding of California Labor Code as it pertains to workers' compensation claims
• Experience in project management and change management
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage and develop staff
