Job Summary
To support the delivery of mental and behavioral healthcare, the remote California Licensed Clinical Case Specialist will conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, provide solution-focused guidance, and coordinate care for individuals in crisis while working Pacific Time Zone hours from 8 am to 5 pm.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct clinical assessments and apply medical necessity criteria for case management and crisis response
- Coordinate care with behavioral health providers and facilitate referrals to necessary services
- Triage calls from members in crisis and ensure safety and access to appropriate care
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in a behavioral health field
- Clinical licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMSW, or LMFT) is required
- 3-5 years of experience in a clinical setting, with EAP and call center experience preferred
- Ability to work Pacific Time hours (8 am - 5 pm PST)
- SAP certification is required; bilingual Spanish/English is a plus
