California Licensed Clinical Documentation Manager
Job Summary
Overseeing clinical documentation reviews, the full-time California Licensed Clinical Documentation Manager will perform quality assurance reviews of medical records, drive improvements in clinical documentation integrity (CDI) processes, and ensure regulatory compliance while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage clinical documentation reviews and quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Lead data analyses and identify improvement opportunities for CDI processes and training initiatives
- Oversee audits for regulatory compliance and resolve cases of non-compliance in clinical documentation
Required qualifications:
- Minimum six (6) years of experience in an inpatient acute care or clinical setting
- Minimum one (1) year of experience managing operational or project budgets
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medicine, Health Administration, Health Information Management, or related field
- California Nurse Practitioner Certificate, Registered Nurse License, Physician Assistant License, or Doctor of Medicine License required at hire
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in clinical documentation improvement or integrity
