Job Summary

Overseeing clinical documentation reviews, the full-time salaried California Licensed Clinical Documentation Manager will perform quality assurance of medical records, drive improvements in clinical documentation integrity (CDI) processes, and ensure regulatory compliance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:
  • Manage quality assurance reviews of medical records and oversee the scheduling of documentation reviews
  • Lead data analyses to identify trends and improvement opportunities in clinical documentation processes
  • Drive staff training and education initiatives in partnership with medical leadership to enhance clinical documentation practices
Required qualifications:
  • Minimum six (6) years of experience in an inpatient acute care or clinical setting
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in clinical documentation improvement or integrity
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medicine, Health Administration, Health Information Management, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Nurse Practitioner Certificate, Registered Nurse License, Physician Assistant License, or Doctor of Medicine License (California) required at hire
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience managing operational or project budgets
