Job Summary
Overseeing clinical documentation reviews, the full-time California Licensed Clinical Documentation Manager will perform quality assurance reviews of medical records, drive improvements in clinical documentation integrity processes, and ensure regulatory compliance while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage clinical documentation reviews and ensure accuracy and completeness of medical records
- Lead data and root cause analyses to identify and implement improvements in clinical documentation processes
- Oversee staff training and education initiatives, establishing partnerships with medical leadership to promote clinical documentation training
Required qualifications:
- Minimum six (6) years of experience in an inpatient acute care or clinical setting
- Minimum one (1) year of experience managing operational or project budgets
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medicine, Health Administration, Health Information Management, or related field
- Nurse Practitioner Certificate, Registered Nurse License, Physician Assistant License, or Doctor of Medicine License (California) required at hire
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in clinical documentation improvement or integrity
