Job Summary

Overseeing clinical documentation reviews, the full-time remote California Licensed Clinical Documentation Manager will manage quality assurance of medical records, drive improvements in clinical documentation integrity processes, and ensure regulatory compliance while providing mentorship and training to staff.

Key responsibilities:
  • Manage quality assurance reviews of medical records and oversee scheduling for clinical documentation reviews
  • Drive improvements in clinical documentation processes through data analysis and root cause investigations
  • Oversee staff training and education initiatives, fostering partnerships between the CDI team and medical leadership
Required qualifications:
  • Minimum six (6) years of experience in an inpatient acute care or clinical setting
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medicine, Health Administration, Health Information Management, or related field with eight (8) years of relevant experience, or eleven (11) years of experience in related fields
  • California Nurse Practitioner Certificate, Registered Nurse License, Physician Assistant License, or Doctor of Medicine License required at hire
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in clinical documentation improvement or integrity
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience managing operational or project budgets
