Job Summary
Overseeing clinical documentation reviews, the full-time California Licensed Clinical Documentation Manager will perform quality assurance of medical records, drive improvements in clinical documentation processes, and ensure regulatory compliance while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage clinical documentation reviews and quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Lead data analyses and identify opportunities for improvement in clinical documentation integrity (CDI) programs
- Oversee staff training and establish partnerships with medical leadership to promote CDI education
Required qualifications:
- Minimum six (6) years of experience in an inpatient acute care or clinical setting
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in clinical documentation improvement or integrity
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medicine, Health Administration, Health Information Management, or related field with relevant experience
- Nurse Practitioner Certificate, Registered Nurse License, Physician Assistant License, or Doctor of Medicine License (California) required at hire
- Minimum one (1) year of experience managing operational or project budgets
