California Licensed Clinical Documentation Manager
Job Summary
Overseeing clinical documentation reviews, the full-time California Licensed Clinical Documentation Manager will perform quality assurance of medical records, drive improvements in clinical documentation integrity processes, and ensure regulatory compliance while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage quality assurance reviews of medical records and oversee scheduling for documentation reviews
- Lead data analyses to identify trends and improvement opportunities in clinical documentation processes
- Drive staff training and education initiatives in partnership with medical leadership to enhance clinical documentation practices
Required qualifications:
- Minimum six (6) years of experience in an inpatient acute care or clinical setting
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in clinical documentation improvement or integrity
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medicine, Health Administration, or related field with relevant experience
- Nurse Practitioner Certificate, Registered Nurse License, Physician Assistant License, or Doctor of Medicine License (California) required at hire
- Minimum one (1) year of experience managing operational or project budgets
