Job Summary

Overseeing clinical documentation reviews, the full-time California Licensed Clinical Documentation Manager will perform quality assurance of medical records, drive improvements in the clinical documentation integrity program, and ensure regulatory compliance, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:
  • Manage quality assurance reviews of medical records and oversee scheduling for documentation reviews
  • Lead data and root cause analyses to identify opportunities for improvement in clinical documentation processes
  • Facilitate staff training and education in clinical documentation, partnering with medical leadership for effective training programs
Required qualifications:
  • Minimum six (6) years of experience in an inpatient acute care or clinical setting
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience managing operational or project budgets
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medicine, Health Administration, Health Information Management, or related field AND minimum eight (8) years of relevant experience
  • Nurse Practitioner Certificate, Registered Nurse License, Physician Assistant License, or Doctor of Medicine License (California) required at hire
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in clinical documentation improvement or integrity
