Job Summary

Overseeing clinical documentation reviews, the full-time California Licensed Clinical Documentation Manager will perform quality assurance of medical records, drive improvements in clinical documentation integrity, and ensure regulatory compliance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:
  • Manage clinical documentation reviews and quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Lead data analyses and identify improvement opportunities within the clinical documentation improvement program
  • Oversee staff training and establish partnerships with medical leadership to promote clinical documentation education
Required qualifications:
  • Minimum six (6) years of experience in an inpatient acute care or clinical setting
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in clinical documentation improvement or integrity
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medicine, Health Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Nurse Practitioner Certificate, Registered Nurse License, Physician Assistant License, or Doctor of Medicine License in California required at hire
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience managing operational or project budgets
