Job Summary
Overseeing clinical documentation reviews, the full-time California Licensed Clinical Documentation Manager will perform quality assurance on medical records, drive improvements in clinical documentation integrity processes, and ensure regulatory compliance while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage clinical documentation reviews and ensure accuracy and completeness of medical records
- Lead data analyses to identify improvement opportunities in clinical documentation processes
- Oversee staff training and education initiatives related to clinical documentation integrity
Required Qualifications
- Minimum six (6) years of experience in an inpatient acute care or clinical setting
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medicine, Health Administration, Health Information Management, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in clinical documentation improvement or integrity
- California Nurse Practitioner Certificate, Registered Nurse License, Physician Assistant License, or Doctor of Medicine License required at hire
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in a leadership role
