Job Summary

Overseeing clinical documentation reviews, the full-time California Licensed Clinical Documentation Manager will perform quality assurance of medical records, drive improvements in clinical documentation integrity (CDI) processes, and manage staff training and regulatory compliance in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities:
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of medical/health records and oversee scheduling for clinical documentation reviews
  • Lead data analyses to identify trends and improvement opportunities in CDI processes
  • Manage staff training and establish partnerships with medical leadership to promote CDI education
Required qualifications:
  • Minimum six (6) years of experience in an inpatient acute care or clinical setting
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience managing operational or project budgets
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medicine, Health Administration, Health Information Management, or related field with at least eight (8) years of relevant experience
  • Nurse Practitioner Certificate, Registered Nurse License, Physician Assistant License, or Doctor of Medicine License (California) required at hire
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in clinical documentation improvement or integrity
