Job Summary
Leading the development of reporting and analytics solutions for the Epic electronic health record system, the full-time Clinical Informatics Specialist will gather business needs, document requirements, and deliver reports to stakeholders while working remotely from Los Angeles, CA.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development of EHR reporting and analytics solutions by gathering requirements and developing reports from the Epic Tapestry data model
- Perform in-depth investigation and documentation of reporting specifications, translating business questions into actionable reports
- Manage stakeholder requirements, track progress, and resolve escalated issues while maintaining a complete issues log
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a healthcare-related organization
- 5+ years of expertise in MS SQL Server or Oracle with strong SQL programming skills
- Epic Clarity Data Model certification in one or more modules
- Experience developing reports from the Epic Tapestry data model
- Knowledge of healthcare reporting best practices and data warehouse concepts
