California Licensed Clinical Manager

Job Summary

Driving the improvement of clinical documentation processes, the full-time California Licensed Clinical Manager will oversee quality assurance reviews of medical records, manage audits for regulatory compliance, and lead staff training initiatives in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee clinical documentation reviews and ensure accuracy and completeness of medical records
• Lead data and root cause analyses to identify improvement opportunities in clinical documentation processes
• Manage staff training and establish partnerships between the CDI team and medical leadership to promote education initiatives

Required qualifications:

• Minimum six (6) years of experience in an inpatient acute care or clinical setting
• Minimum one (1) year of experience managing operational or project budgets
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in a leadership role
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medicine, Health Administration, or related field with relevant experience, or eleven (11) years of experience in a related field
• California Nurse Practitioner Certificate, Registered Nurse License, Physician Assistant License, or Doctor of Medicine License required at hire
