Job Summary

Overseeing clinical documentation reviews, the full-time California Licensed Clinical Manager will manage quality assurance of medical records, drive improvements in clinical documentation integrity (CDI) processes, and ensure regulatory compliance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:
  • Perform quality assurance reviews of medical records and oversee scheduling for completeness and accuracy in clinical documentation
  • Lead data and root cause analyses to identify improvement opportunities in CDI processes and drive staff training initiatives
  • Manage audits of clinical documentation to ensure compliance with coding guidelines and federal regulations
Required qualifications:
  • Minimum six (6) years of experience in an inpatient acute care or clinical setting
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medicine, Health Administration, Health Information Management, or related field with a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience
  • Nurse Practitioner Certificate, Registered Nurse License, Physician Assistant License, or Doctor of Medicine License (California) required at hire
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in clinical documentation improvement or integrity
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience managing operational or project budgets
