Job Summary
To enhance clinical documentation integrity, the full-time California Licensed Clinical Manager will oversee quality assurance reviews of medical records, manage audits for regulatory compliance, and drive staff training and education in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee clinical documentation reviews and ensure accuracy and completeness of medical records
- Drive improvements in clinical documentation processes through data analysis and root cause evaluations
- Manage staff training and establish partnerships with medical leadership to promote clinical documentation education
Required qualifications:
- Minimum six (6) years of experience in an inpatient acute care or clinical setting
- Minimum one (1) year of experience managing operational or project budgets
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medicine, Health Administration, Health Information Management, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Nurse Practitioner Certificate, Registered Nurse License, Physician Assistant License, or Doctor of Medicine License in California required at hire
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in clinical documentation improvement or integrity
