Job Summary

To support the Cancer Center Triage Team, the full-time California Licensed Clinical Nurse will provide clinical support for oncology patients, focusing on expedited symptomatic triage, care coordination, and enhancing patient access to services, primarily in a remote setting with occasional on-site requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage expedited symptomatic clinical triage and coordinate patient communication and education
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure smooth transitions from inpatient to outpatient care
• Identify opportunities for improving patient access and assist in developing new operational programs

Required qualifications

• California Registered Nurse (RN) license
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• 2 years of relevant outpatient ambulatory oncology nursing experience required; 5 years preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution preferred
• OCN certification and prior telephonic oncology triage experience preferred
