Key Responsibilities:
- Lead professional coding operations across the health system
- Ensure accurate, compliant, and timely coding of professional services
- Develop and implement coding strategies, standards, and best practices
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an AHIMA accredited HIM program or related field, or equivalent education and experience
- 10+ years of extensive background in ICD-10-CM coding and official coding guidelines
- 7 years of management experience overseeing coding operations and teams
- Experience standardizing complex processes across multiple facilities
- Proven history of identifying and resolving issues impacting business outcomes
