California Licensed Coding Manager

Job Summary

To support the Revenue Cycle department, the full-time California Licensed Coding Manager will manage staff, oversee coding inventory, and ensure departmental KPIs are met while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the coding team, ensuring effective performance and development
• Oversee coding inventory management and maintain compliance with coding regulations
• Monitor and report on departmental KPIs and goals to drive continuous improvement

Required qualifications

• Nine years of related experience or a Bachelor's degree with five years of relevant experience in hospital coding
• Solid knowledge of revenue cycle management practices and coding regulations
• Experience in leadership roles within a coding team, including training and mentoring coders
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop effective solutions to complex problems
• Familiarity with human resources management policies and staff performance monitoring
