Job Summary
To support a very active litigation docket, the remote long-term contract opportunity for a California Licensed Commercial Litigation Attorney will focus on drafting motions, briefs, and other litigation documents while independently managing case assignments during Pacific Time business hours.
Key responsibilities
- Drafting motions, briefs, pleadings, and discovery documents for ongoing litigation matters
- Conducting legal research and developing litigation strategy recommendations
- Assisting with case management and trial preparation across multiple federal court matters
Required qualifications
- JD and an active member in good standing of the California state bar
- 3-5 years of commercial litigation experience at a law firm
- Strong experience in drafting litigation-related documents
- Ability to independently handle assignments with minimal revision
- Exposure to a variety of commercial litigation matters
