Job Summary
Seeking a California Licensed Commercial Litigation Paralegal, the full-time position will manage fact investigations, witness interviews, and trial preparation while supporting attorneys in either the Oakland or Los Angeles offices or remotely within California.
Key responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, and preparing for depositions and trials
- Manage case files, document production, and e-discovery database use while ensuring timely communication with clients and experts
- Coordinate the filing of documents and maintain accurate calendaring and docketing
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in California litigation
- Experience with Relativity or other document review software
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate preferred
- Trial preparation and attendance experience
- Significant legal-related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
