California Licensed Compliance Consultant
Job Summary
Serving as a subject matter expert in compliance, the full-time California Licensed Compliance Consultant will manage complex targeted reviews and external audits related to Risk Adjustment Coding while working remotely and ensuring adherence to national coding policies.
Key responsibilities
- Conducts and oversees business-specific projects to promote adherence to compliance policies and develop work plans
- Leads compliance reporting efforts by evaluating and summarizing compliance data and developing presentations for management
- Drives regulatory compliance by monitoring complex regulatory changes and overseeing the implementation of necessary adjustments
Required qualifications
- Minimum six (6) years of medical coding experience
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in a leadership role
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in health care compliance or a related area
- Certified Coding Specialist or equivalent certification from recognized organizations
- Experience in health care operations, audit, finance, or regulatory compliance
