California Licensed Compliance Director

Job Summary

To fulfill Aspire's compliance commitment, the full-time California Licensed Compliance Director will plan, design, implement, and refine the Compliance Program while working remotely, focusing on regulatory audits, compliance training, and addressing compliance issues in the health insurance industry.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage communication with CMS and DMHC regarding regulatory compliance and Medicare complaints
• Develop and launch compliance training and education programs
• Prepare compliance reports for the Board of Directors and monitor the effectiveness of the Compliance Program

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years' experience in health plans, with 3-5 years in management
• Advanced degree in law, business law, or health administration preferred
• CHC, CIA, or equivalent certification preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months
• Strong knowledge of California commercial health plans, Medicare Advantage/Part D, and NCQA guidelines
• Thorough understanding of HIPAA and FWA practices and regulations
