Job Summary
To support a growing legal services company, a California Licensed Contract Attorney will provide legal support for commercial contracting activities by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements with clients and vendors in a fully remote, part-time capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate client-facing commercial agreements and vendor contracts
- Identify contractual risks and provide practical legal guidance to internal business teams
- Facilitate contract negotiations and execution by collaborating with cross-functional teams
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and admission to at least one U.S. state bar; California Bar admission preferred
- 5+ years of legal experience focused on commercial contracts and transactional matters
- Strong experience with drafting, redlining, and negotiating various commercial agreements
- Demonstrated experience negotiating Master Services Agreements (MSAs) and other commercial contracts
- Ability to identify contractual risks and provide commercially minded recommendations
