Job Summary

To support a growing accounting team, the full-time Lead Cost Accountant will manage accurate accounting transactions, account reconciliations, and reporting while collaborating with various departments in a hybrid or remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform month-end closing duties and general ledger account reconciliations related to inventory and prepaid assets
• Analyze inventory trends and variances, preparing necessary journal entries and accruals for projects
• Assist with month-end reporting and compliance audits while providing ad-hoc financial analysis

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cost accounting and financial analysis, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong analytical skills with experience in standard costing and project-based systems
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with SAP is a plus
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently
