California Licensed C&Q Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time California Licensed C&Q Engineer, this position will manage commissioning and qualification activities for computerized analytical instruments in a regulated life sciences environment, primarily on-site with limited remote flexibility for documentation tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the Equipment System Owner for computerized analytical instrumentation during commissioning and qualification activities
- Review and approve qualification protocols and documentation for technical accuracy and system-owner approval
- Collaborate with validation resources, engineering personnel, and vendors to ensure successful equipment qualification
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, or a related technical discipline
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in commissioning and qualification, analytical instrumentation, or computerized equipment within a regulated environment
- Extensive experience with analytical laboratory equipment and computerized systems
- Demonstrated knowledge of qualification documentation and protocols
- Experience serving as an Equipment System Owner or in a comparable oversight capacity preferred
