Job Summary

To support a growing cybersecurity department, the full-time California Licensed Cyber Architecture Manager will manage the university's security architecture, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and leading specialized teams to implement effective cybersecurity strategies in a fully remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assessments and recommend security solutions across the university, including research security, while designing robust security systems
• Lead the strategic development and execution of comprehensive security architecture, shaping security policies and performing thorough assessments
• Direct specialized teams to implement security strategies, fostering a culture of excellence and compliance while participating in staff management activities

Required qualifications

• 7 years of experience in security architecture design and network security or related fields
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent combined experience and education
• Extensive experience in security architecture design with the ability to implement effective security frameworks
• Proven knowledge of network security technologies and solutions
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and the ability to apply them effectively
