California Licensed Data Analytics Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing analytics team, the remote California Licensed Data Analytics Engineer will design and maintain data models and pipelines in Snowflake, ensuring reliable metrics for product teams while collaborating closely with Product and Engineering.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain dbt models and semantic models in Snowflake for reliable metric documentation
- Partner with product managers to translate roadmap goals into measurable success metrics while identifying and resolving data collection gaps
- Utilize AI tools to enhance development speed and validate AI-generated code, ensuring compliance with privacy and regulatory standards
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in analytics or data engineering, with a focus on data models and pipelines
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field
- Strong SQL and dbt skills, including experience with incremental models and testing
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake and semantic modeling
- Fluency with AI coding tools and experience in regulated environments with privacy and compliance requirements
