Job Summary
Leading the design and optimization of enterprise data platforms, the full-time hybrid California Licensed Data Engineer will drive technical strategy, enhance big data solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performing data solutions across Hadoop and Azure technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and development of large-scale data platforms for analytics and machine learning
- Design and optimize big data solutions using Hadoop ecosystem technologies and Azure data services
- Mentor data engineers and establish engineering standards and best practices
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering, with 3+ years in a technical lead or architect role
- Strong hands-on experience with Hadoop ecosystem components and Azure data services
- Advanced experience building solutions in Databricks, including Spark optimization
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and distributed data processing frameworks
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
