California Licensed Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Cloud Infrastructure Team, the full-time California Licensed Data Engineer will lead the development and optimization of ETL/ELT processes, work with AWS and Snowflake, and enhance data analytics tools while working remotely within California.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development, maintenance, and optimization of batch and streaming ETL/ELT processes
- Develop and containerize workflows using AWS cloud services, Snowflake, Python, and SQL
- Review and expand data models to create automated data pipelines for reporting and API access
Required qualifications
- Relevant BA/BS in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, or a related quantitative field
- Minimum of three years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a related role
- Advanced proficiency with cloud data warehousing tools such as Snowflake and SQL databases
- Expert knowledge of SQL and experience with ETL tools like dbt and Jupyter Notebooks
- Experience working with K-12 or education data is encouraged
