Job Summary
To support epidemiologic research initiatives, the full-time California Licensed Data Scientist will manage data programming using R and Python, perform data analysis, and assist in the development of reporting solutions while working flexibly within California.
Key responsibilities:
- Execute data management and quality control tasks, including extracting and manipulating large datasets
- Assist in the interpretation of data analysis results and prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders
- Support the development and automation of business reporting solutions, including creating visualizations and summary statistics
Required qualifications:
- Minimum one (1) year experience programming with SAS, SQL, R, or similar analytical programming languages
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Social/Physical/Life Science, Business, or a related field, or two (2) years of relevant experience
- Experience with data visualization tools and relational databases
