Job Summary
To support epidemiologic research, the full-time California Licensed Data Scientist will program in R and Python, manage data quality and reporting, and collaborate on data analysis and interpretation while working remotely within California.
Key responsibilities
- Extract, manipulate, and merge large databases to create analytical datasets
- Assist with data analysis interpretation and organize reports to influence decision-making
- Develop and automate business and reporting solutions, including visualizations and interactive reports
Required qualifications
- Minimum one (1) year experience programming with SAS, SQL, R, or similar analytical programming language
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Social/Physical/Life Science, Business, or related field, or two (2) years of experience in data analytics
- Experience in data cleaning and organizing data for analysis
- Familiarity with data visualization tools
- Experience working with relational databases
