California Licensed Databricks Architect
Job Summary
To support a public sector initiative, a California Licensed Databricks Architect will work remotely for 8-12 months, focusing on delivering end-to-end Databricks implementations and designing cloud-native data platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver 6-8+ end-to-end Databricks implementations as a hands-on developer or solution architect
- Design and implement cloud-native data platforms across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
- Develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks and modern data engineering frameworks
Required qualifications
- 12-15+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Platforms, and Data Analytics
- Databricks Data Engineering Professional certification or equivalent advanced certification
- Strong expertise in Apache Spark and performance optimization techniques
- Experience implementing DevOps and CI/CD practices for data solutions
- Current understanding of the Databricks Lakehouse Platform and its capabilities
