Job Summary

To enhance coding integrity and ensure compliance, the full-time California Licensed Documentation Auditor will conduct audits, reviews, and special projects remotely, focusing on the accuracy and quality of coding and documentation while preparing detailed audit reports and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities:
  • Conduct audits and reviews to monitor coding accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Prepare audit reports detailing findings and provide education on coding practices
  • Collaborate with teams to develop and implement new processes that support organizational goals and compliance needs
Required qualifications:
  • Minimum two years of experience in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding, including chart auditing
  • Associate's degree in Health Information Management or related field and five years of relevant experience, or six years of experience in a directly related field
  • Registered Health Information Technician, Certified Coding Specialist, or equivalent certification required at hire
