Job Summary
To enhance coding integrity and ensure compliance, the full-time California Licensed Documentation Auditor will conduct audits, monitor coding accuracy, and prepare detailed reports while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct special projects and audits to monitor the accuracy and quality of coding and documentation
- Prepare audit reports and perform trend analyses to identify compliance risks and opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement processes that support regulatory requirements
Required qualifications:
- Minimum two years of experience in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding, including chart auditing
- Associate's degree in Health Information Management or related field, or six years of relevant experience
- Registered Health Information Technician or equivalent coding certification required at hire
