Job Summary

Contributing to coding quality audits, the full-time California Licensed Documentation Auditor will conduct special projects, audits, and reviews to monitor the accuracy and quality of coding and documentation while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities:
  • Conduct audits and reviews to assess the accuracy of coding and documentation across assigned lines of business
  • Prepare detailed audit reports and provide education on compliance and coding practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance coding integrity and develop new processes that meet regulatory requirements
Required qualifications:
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding, including chart auditing
  • Associates degree in Health Information Management or related field with at least five (5) years of relevant experience, or six (6) years of experience in a directly related field
  • Registered Health Information Technician or equivalent certification required at hire
