Job Summary
Contributing to coding quality audits, the full-time California Licensed Documentation Auditor will conduct audits, reviews, and special projects to ensure the accuracy and quality of coding and documentation while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct audits and reviews to monitor coding accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Prepare detailed audit reports and provide education on identified opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance coding integrity and develop new processes
Required qualifications:
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding, including chart auditing
- Associate's degree in Health Information Management, Health Care Administration, or related field, or six (6) years of relevant experience
- Registered Health Information Technician or equivalent certification required at hire
