Job Summary

To enhance coding integrity, the full-time California Licensed Documentation Auditor will conduct audits, reviews, and special projects to monitor coding accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:
  • Conduct audits and reviews to assess the accuracy and quality of coding and documentation
  • Prepare detailed audit reports and provide education on identified opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new processes that support compliance and organizational goals
Required qualifications:
  • Minimum two years of experience in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding, including chart auditing
  • Associate's degree in Health Information Management or related field, or six years of relevant experience
  • Registered Health Information Technician or equivalent certification required at hire
