Job Summary
To enhance coding integrity and ensure compliance, the full-time California Licensed Documentation Auditor will conduct audits, reviews, and special projects remotely, focusing on the accuracy and quality of coding and documentation in alignment with regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct audits and reviews to monitor coding accuracy and compliance with regulations
- Prepare detailed audit reports and identify potential risks and remedies related to coding practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new processes supporting organizational goals
Required qualifications:
- Minimum two years of experience with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding, including chart auditing
- Associate's degree in Health Information Management or related field, or six years of relevant experience
- Registered Health Information Technician or equivalent coding certification required at hire
