Job Summary

To enhance coding integrity and ensure compliance, the full-time California Licensed Documentation Auditor will conduct audits, reviews, and special projects remotely, focusing on the accuracy and quality of coding and documentation while adhering to regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct audits and reviews to monitor coding accuracy and compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Prepare detailed audit reports and provide education on identified risks and opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new processes that support organizational goals
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum two years of experience in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding, including chart auditing
  • Associate's degree in Health Information Management or related field and five years of relevant experience, or six years of relevant experience without the degree
  • Registered Health Information Technician or equivalent certification required at hire
