Job Summary

Contributing to coding quality audits, the full-time California Licensed Documentation Auditor will conduct audits, reviews, and special projects to ensure the accuracy and quality of coding and documentation while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:
  • Conduct audits and reviews to monitor coding accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Prepare detailed audit reports and provide education on coding/documentation trends and opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance coding integrity and implement new processes and workflows
Required qualifications:
  • Minimum two years of experience with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding, including chart auditing
  • Associate's degree in Health Information Management or a related field, or six years of relevant experience
  • Registered Health Information Technician or equivalent coding certification required at hire
