Job Summary
To support patient care, the part-time Remote EEG Technologist will independently monitor multiple patients, detect EEG abnormalities, and communicate findings to neurologists while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Continuously monitor EEG recordings, analyzing real-time and historical data for abnormalities
- Document findings accurately to meet industry standards and company policies
- Operate and troubleshoot multiple EEG instruments and software while ensuring a distraction-free work environment
Required qualifications
- ABRET board certification (R. EEGT); CLTM preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of long-term monitoring (cEEG) experience in ICU EEG and EMU settings
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology of the neurological system
- HIPAA knowledge and a secure, compliant workspace
- Familiarity with Nihon Kohden, Cadwell, and Xltek EEG equipment preferred
