Job Summary
To support clinical operations, the remote contract California Licensed Epic Specialist will build, maintain, and optimize Epic EMR integrations and workflows while collaborating with healthcare stakeholders to address operational gaps.
Key responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and optimize Epic EMR integrations, workflows, and clinical interface systems
- Partner with clinicians and nursing leadership to identify operational gaps and deliver technical solutions
- Troubleshoot complex application issues and manage interfaces across hospital departments
Required qualifications
- Active Epic Certification(s)
- 5+ years of specialized experience with Epic Inpatient workflows and systems
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Epic OpTime application build and implementation
- 5+ years of experience within Epic HIM (Health Information Management) modules and interfaces
- Proven background in healthcare environments working directly alongside physicians and RN leadership
