Job Summary
To support energy and utility projects, the California Licensed Evaluation Researcher will analyze quantitative and qualitative data, contribute to research design, and produce evidence-based insights, with the flexibility to work remotely or from offices in Reno or Sacramento.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and manage large datasets, performing both quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Translate research questions into data collection instruments and support sampling design
- Synthesize findings from research activities and contribute to written reports and presentations
Required qualifications
- Experience in the energy sector, energy efficiency, or applied research
- Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, Stata, SPSS, SAS) and Microsoft Excel
- Experience developing survey instruments and conducting qualitative research
- Master's or PhD in behavioral or social sciences, economics, public policy, or related field (preferred for higher levels)
- Experience authoring research reports and managing research projects (mid/senior level)
