California Licensed Financial Team Lead

Job Summary

To support financial operations for California's Medi-Cal program, the remote California Licensed Financial Team Lead will manage Accounts Receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of financial transactions while providing guidance and training to team members.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate weekly Accounts Receivable operations, ensuring accurate payment processing to DHCS and the State Controller's Office
• Research and resolve complex financial issues, including escalated inquiries from stakeholders
• Perform quality reviews of accounts receivable transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial protocols

Required qualifications

• Experience in accounts receivable, financial operations, or healthcare financial functions
• Proven ability to analyze and resolve complex financial transaction issues
• Experience in a high-volume financial processing environment with strict accuracy and deadline requirements
• Experience providing training and workflow support to team members
• Strong skills in data entry and financial information systems
